Medical Bioinformatics covers a broad spectrum of research areas which can be as different as the diseases they explore. The ultimate goal is to develop new clinical diagnostics tools and propose treatment, if possible even in a personlized manner. This can be achieved by analyzing the genotype, using proteomics, evaluating pictures from tissues, etc.
